My toddler bumped the table and one of the trays fell onto our tile floor. I braced myself for shattered plastic – but it just bounced. Not even a crack. This is why I buy plastic over ceramic for parties. The stand is stable and the 3 tiers offer plenty of space for snacks. The trays can be used individually too. I've since bought another set for my mom. Excellent value and durability.
I used this at my sister's bridal shower to display cupcakes, macarons, and chocolate-dipped strawberries. The 3 tiers created such an elegant presentation. The 8.27" total height is just right for a dessert table – not too tall, not too short. The trays are easy to clean – I washed them by hand with mild soap. The stand collapses for storage. I'm using this for a baby shower next month. Great product.
The white plastic trays are high quality – no cracks or scratches. They're lightweight but feel durable. However, the gold metal stand arrived with one of the joints slightly bent. I was able to gently straighten it with pliers, but it shouldn't have arrived that way. The stand is stable now and the non-slip feet work well. 4 stars because of the shipping issue. The product itself is good once assembled.
